Abiks Private Schools first came into being first as Abiks Private Nursery & Primary School in September 1994, in Williams Estate, Tabon-Tabon, Oko Oba, Agege. Following its tremendous success within a period of seven years, based on the quality of learners that were graduating into secondary schools and kept blazing the trail, the parents and guardians mounted pressure on the School management to establish a post-primary school that would maintain the academic standards of the primary school. This, the parents argued would minimize if not eliminate the challenge of having to pick their wards from different points at resumption and closing times each day. Post-primary schools in which our learners excelled more often than not sought to know or trace the primary school from which the learners were coming, The School had no choice, but to pick up the gauntlet as the external feedbacks also gave us the impetus and encouragement. Thus, Abiks High School was born in September, 2002. Within a record time of four years, the High School got its full approval from the Lagos State Ministry of Education. Abiks Private School is a co-educational institution catering for the needs of all our children within and without the immediate environment of the society. Being a foundational school, we pay due attention to the basics which form the infrastructural framework upon which the superstructure can be erected. In other words, the quality of a final product is a function of its packaging ab initio. We therefore place very high premium on our core values which include discipline, honesty sound moral training, school and parents’ partnership. On partnership with parents and guardians, we strongly believe the training and nurturing spectrum of a child spans the time available to the growing child. Time has been succinctly described as the currency of life that must not be fritted away. Thus, as partners with common objectives, we do not see the role of our parents as terminating at the point of paying school fees, buying school uniforms and books.
