Overview

Academic Planet School is an approved learning institution for children between the ages of 1 and 16. The school was established on 2nd of August, 2010 to contribute towards bridging the gap in our educational sector and prepare our citizens for the 21st century. The school aims to provide high quality, academically sound education to pupils/students in a supportive and conducive learning environment. Excellence is at the heart of everything we do and we strive to always raise the bar of academic excellence through continuous learning, improving our existing processes, updating our facilities and hiring the right set of people to work with us. Our enriched and continuously updated curriculum develops a child’s confidence to learn and succeed while fostering an awareness of personal, social and environmental responsibility in him/her. Our children are well prepared to meet the demands of both the local exams (General Placement Test, Primary School Leaving Assessment Test, Federal Common Entrance Examination and Entrance Examination into any private secondary school of choice in Nigeria) and International examination (Cambridge Primary). We have deployed a concept of multiple intelligence in our teaching while limiting our class size to 15 to ensure that there is differentiated learning for every child to attain his/her full potential. We have the following classes: Pearls (1 – 2 years old) Preschool 2 (2 – 3 years old) Preschool 3 (3 – 4 years old) Preschool 4 (4 – 5 years old) Transition (5 – 6 years old) Grade 1 to Grade 5, Year 7 to Year 12.
