Overview

At AL-ISLAMDEEN PRIVATE SCHOOL [A.P.S], we are basically into ensuring total and complete transformation of each individual pupil/student . We accomplish this by focusing on the 3 Hs of education .It is the education of the head, education of the heart, and the education of the hand. With the education of the head, we give to the learners all they will need to advance and perform excellently in their secular education. They learn subjects like Mathematics, English, Social Studies, Science, and the rest under very competent and qualified tutors to achieve this. With the education of the heart, they are taught Islamic morals, and what to bring them closer to their Creator and this is the reason for the creation of the school Madrasah [Arabic School] where purely Islamic and Arabic lessons are taught on a daily basis to nurture God fearing and well educated for leaders who would be ready to manage the affairs of our nation with the consciousness of Allah (God). Lastly, with the education of the hand, we are making sure that our learners after graduating from our secondary school would have gained and gotten enough skills and vocational knowledge to make them employers of labour and making them financially independent even before securing university admissions or education. At APS, we make sure that our learners before graduation, would have mastered two or more vocational skills such as bead making, tailoring, building construction, automobile, electrical installation, bag production, shoes making, graphics design, website development and many more. At APS, we believe that every child is useful. We believe that every child is important. We believe that every child has a potential that should be tapped and developed for the benefit of the larger society.
