Message from the School It is my pleasure to offer you a warm welcome and to thank you for your interest in Atlantic Bay Preparatory School. Here at Atlantic Bay, we are firm in our belief that securing a solid education for your child is one of the most important decisions you will ever make on their behalf. We are committed to instilling a love of learning and academic excellence in our pupils, not merely for functional purposes but also for its own sake. We foster a culture of high expectations and encourage our children to work to the best of their ability, and develop into the best version of themselves possible. We are proud to nurture children within a happy and close-knit community where each child can flourish as a known and treasured individual. A wide range of opportunities are proudly offered to stimulate our children’s intellectual interests and development both inside and outside the classroom. We have a rich and varied programme of co-curricular opportunities and offer activities such as Music, Sport, French, Ballet, Swimming, Drama and Dance lessons. The development of such skills whilst being hugely enjoyable for the children, also contribute to developing their confidence and self-esteem, thus aiding in making them well-rounded and holistic individuals; an important characteristic to have in the ever expanding, competitive society we live in today. We aim to equip our children, not only with an excellent academic grounding, but also with qualities of character to see them through their lives beyond school. The importance of being caring and compassionate is embedded in our curriculum through the emphasis we place on kindness, tolerance and mutual respect. Our pupils are our future and our aim is to ensure they grow to make a full contribution to the global community.
