Overview

ur Pre-School fosters many of the strategies that are used in international schools across the world. In particular those relating to the importance of relationships between children, staff and families; the development of an aesthetic environment in which children are active participants and the use of documentation as a means of communicating the learning processes taking place to all involved in the pre-school – children, parents, teachers and volunteers. The program designed for students aged 0-5 years, is based on providing the child with a large variety of activity and experiences to support the growth and learning, consistent with the theory of cognitive development, in which case, children construct knowledge from their interactions with objects and actions on the environment.   In addition, toddlers will be exposed to a language – rich environment that will facilitate their language development skills and encourage social interactions.  The target curriculum areas include: language, mathematics, sensorial, practical life, and culture
