I am very proud of our school. Every member of the school community makes a huge contribution to our success as a center of learning. Our wonderful teachers and the support staff and of course the brilliant children who make our school such a wonderful place to learn and work. We also rely on the engagement of our families to help and support our efforts. Our school vision and strategic aims set out everything we want for our school community as we go forward, but our core aims of Equipping individuals to be world champions, are what guide us on a day to day basis. We are proud of the fact that the children at our school, with their many cultures, faiths and languages, embody Kenyan values such as acceptance, mutual respect and individual freedom. As we move into a new decade, with a new curriculum framework and a renewed focus on each level individual curriculum, we have taken the opportunity to fully embrace the current curriculum on pupils and what they need. Extensive consultation with a wide range stakeholders has identified some core elements we want to include alongside the statutory elements such as the Competence Based Curriculum. A focus on Carlin School, a commitment to the outdoors and the opportunity for children to enjoy and excel at different subjects are all important parts of what we aim to deliver for our children. The partnership between parents, the school and its community is essential in this if every child is to achieve their best. Carlin School is committed to Create Godly Champions where we value and celebrate: getting along, being organised, being persistent and being confident. Our children behave extremely well, whether in school or out, and we consistently receive compliments from the general public wherever we go as a school.
