Chalcedony School is a co-educational institution founded out of a need to provide qualitative and comprehensive education for ages 1-16. In Chalcedony School, qualitative education is our priority and the development of every child is our concern. The set of pupils and students in Chalcedony School are bold and confident. This is made visible in our series of programs and events over the years. Chalcedony School is an IT compliant school with the use of electronic boards and Information and Communications Technology facilities. The school is accessible and has four multiple blocks each of different structure. Chalcedony School curriculum may best be described as a unique fusion of both Nigerian and British curricular. The school is divided into the Pre-School, Junior School and High School (Day and Boarding) Sections. In the Junior School the pupils spend six years and take the Entrance Examination into the High School at the end of the sixth year. The students in the High School spend five years and write the Checkpoint (Cambridge) Intermediary Examinations at the beginning of the third year. In the final year, the High School students take the following examinations: The Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE), The National Examination Council (NECO), The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) (Cambridge) Examination and UTME. Our sports facilities are excellent. The school in its capacity has variety of clubs ranging from Football, Press, Swimming, Ballet, Taekwando, Chess, Dance to mention but a few. Educational, sporting and field trips are organized locally and internationally. In addition, opportunities for both male and female students to excel in football, handball, and athletics are available.
