Gem Star School is the brainchild of “Auntie” Grace Tsebewu. She founded the school eight years ago in the compound of her house (which is still home to the kindergarten of 200 children) and, over the years, has managed to build up this structure on another site for the JHS, which has 250 children and is about a five minute walk from the kindergarten. Our first Little Libreria is at Gem Star School, where we’ve worked with the children since October last year on reading and creative writing.
