On september 19 2011 Gemstones resumed full academics activities with over 100 pupils on the school register. Gemstones was then listed among very highly distinguished academic institutions as a full fledge montessori schools, a model for existing and upcoming nursery/primary schools.We are now 11 years old as a standard montessori school. Before the resumption date, between september 5-15 2011, we made it compulsory for all successful qualified applicant to attend a two-week intensive course on montessori method of teaching. The training venue was the school premises @ no. 3 chukwuagholu avenue and it was powered by yolad montessori training centre, lagos. Since then Gemstones has embarked on very regular training of its teachers and this has greatly enhanced efficiency to the admiration of our esteemed parents.
