Overview

Once upon a time, there broke a vision, supported by a will and driven with passion that gave birth to the person of excellence surnamed GEOMARVEL INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL. Before the beginning, there was a lacuna occasioned by societal ills, and this excellence personified is to provide a bridge and create a pathway for those and only those who distinctively desire Excellence from generation to generation. The vision broke through the eyes of seasoned professionals in the persons of Mr and Mrs Okezie Marvelous Abaraoha. The following persons are some of the members of the Board of Trustees and pioneer management staff: Prof. Donald I. Hamilton (Chairman, BOT), Dr. John Don-Kamanu (Member, BOT), Mr. Emmanuel Ejim (Supervisor), Mrs. Olayemi Ojegbile Eniayo (Principal), Liberty Ann Chinyere (Vice Principal), Mrs. Grace Edmond (Head Mistress Primary), Olarewaju Oluwatoyin (Head Mistress Nursery), Egwoli Stella (Admin Officer), Rev. Paul Olorunshogo as grand patron while Dr. Mrs. Abiola Ejidare is the pioneer PTA chairperson. Geomarvel International Schools started operations in the year 2016. But like Abraham Lincoln said “in the end, it is not the years in the life that counts but the life in the years”. After successful takeoff preparations, Geomarvel International Schools began her first academic activities with 146 pupils and students admitted in all segments; Creche, Pre-nursery, Nursery, Basic and Secondary in the 2016/2017 academic session. This school was born out of passion for excellence; passion to contribute meaningfully to the society; passion to give hope to somebody; passion to ministry and to affect lives positively; passion to nurture and guide towards self discovery/self expression; passion for realization of potentials; passion for responsible citizenship; passion to put confidence level at its peak via transmission of good communication and public speaking skills; out of passion to have well rounded individuals personifying excellence. And this translates to the stipulated Vision, Mission Statement and Core Values.
