Overview
The name Gopherwood School was taken from Gopherwood tree in the Bible (Genesis 6:14). Reading through that portion of scriptures I saw in Gopherwood tree an embodiment of strength and longevity that resisted weather attacks and the greatest flood to give protection and guarantee life. Little wonder God’s choice of Gopherwood tree from other species of trees for the construction of life preserving Ark-Noah’s Ark.
