Graceful Oaks Nursery and Primary School was born out of a time of prayer by the resident Pastor of Christ Chapel International Churches Ashi Bodija,Rev Elekima Ekine in 1997 October in response to the leading of the Lord to reach out to the community in which the church is located through Education. The late Mandiba Nelson Mandela said that Education is the only powerful tool that you can use to change the world. This can literally be said of Graceful Oaks Nursery and Primary School. It is a school founded to serve as a beaming light into the darkness of the community in which we found ourselves. In the past 17 years we have nurtured over 1000 children providing them with the basic education and soft skills that they need to build their educational pursuit. Our teaching staff are of the best grade and are constantly being trained and retrained to meet the challenges of today's classroom.Our facilities are up to date with children developing in all the three domains of learning, the cognitive, affective and psycho motor. We believe in every child and so all children are treated equally and given the opportunity to develop to their highest potentials.Graceful Oaks has become a household name in her community and each day both teachers and pupils look forward to experiencing something new.Every child matters at Graceful Oaks so we welcome you to join us. The school is the planting of the Lord from a little seed of faith that was sown that gradually is becoming a giant OAK tree where all the birds are perching on. Mission To promote the full development of children through high quality pre-school programmes and primary education. CORE VALUES To nurture the child with all diligence and passion, inculcating in them values of hard work, honesty, responsibility, excellence, love, moral uprightness, integrity, good self-esteem and mutual respect. PROGRAMS They are based on the adaptation of the Nigerian curriculum and a little of the Montessori system. ACTIVITIES These are planned taking into consideration the child’s interest and covering all aspects of the curriculum for all age groups at the Early Years Foundation Stage/Primary Education Stage.
