Great Expectations Private School has an inclusive approach to special education. Every child with a special need has a right to be included in every aspect of learning. Our schools model is different from regular schools in that they cater to students with education challenges. We are designed, staffed, and have the resources to provide the right support for children with unique needs. Our aim is to level the playing field. We offer students targeted support to allow them to meet age-appropriate educational goals. We don’t have a “one-size-fits-all” approach to education. Instead, we offer customized programming to meet each student’s unique combination of needs. This includes not just learning, but also social and emotional needs. Established in Lagos in the year 2015, GEPS is a pioneer in offering meaningful, impactful, and affordable services to the intellectually and physically challenged children and young adults in Lagos. Great Expectations Private School has established itself as a symbol of hope for many pupils/students and their parents by offering a school environment to the students. The impact of GEPS’s programs can be evidenced by the fact that some of its students have successfully been re-integrated into mainstream schools, Some improved drastically in their physical structures. Some others have moved on to pre-vocational paths.
