Overview

Since the Junior Secondary School is the spring board for achieving success at the Secondary School level, we pay close attention to the training of students at GNA Schools (Junior Secondary). Hence, at this level every student is given personalized attention. Thus, students are empowered, educated and inspired to fulfill their educational aspiration. Students are also counseled in relation to the department that will assist them to achieve their goals in life.Our combination of both the British and Nigerian curricula empowers our students to excel in national exams like JSSCE and others. GNA (College) today is a vibrant, dynamic and warm community. Our children thrive on expert teaching, conducive classes, state-of-the-art facilities and a vast range of co-curricular activities. At GNASCHOOLS (College) every student is helped by their teachers, the student affairs coordinators and their class tutors. At each stage in their education, student affairs coordinators, and class tutors will get to know them extremely well and will be a source of guidance and support through their teenage years. In addition, there are members of staff who specialize in certain areas, (e.g. Higher Education, Careers and Counseling) and who are always on hand to give advice. Counseling activities in the school include individual and group guidance on educational, vocational and socio-personal matters. Under performing children, gifted, talented and disadvantaged students are invited for interviews and guidance. Students with examination related problems are also helped. Sometimes parents’ attentions are needed and they are equally guided. Special one-on-one tutorials are also conducted daily to help students’ solve problems.
