Grenville follows the British curriculum and as such students at various points in their studies, will be expected to take examinations in final preparation for both the IGCSE and Cambridge A Level/International Degree Foundation programme. Grenville holds various entrance exams during Christmas, during the Easter break and in the summer period. Additionally, by special arrangement students may be allowed to come for an interview which may involve taking a specifically set of papers and assessment by the tutors likely to teach the child. Therefore, the school attracts students from within Lagos and throughout the country. As a deliberate policy, Grenville management has decided to keep its class sizes small as it is our belief that this one of the ways that we can help to ensure that children of all capabilities are brought up to a satisfactory level of performance. This is seen by many parents as a winning formula that will help the school achieve its long term goal of becoming one of the top schools in Nigeria and beyond. The recent addition of boarding facilities would now ensure that Grenville School is truly international as we begin to attract the children of Nigerians in the Diaspora, both from Europe and the Americas. These children apart from acquiring Nigerian values and culture will also help our other students understand the importance of diversity and social responsibility. All in all, Grenville students come not only from the GRA area of Lagos but as far as Lekki and its surroundings. Our Mission The mission of Grenville therefore is to ensure that all students, regardless of ability, have the opportunity to reach their personal best and are well-grounded academically, socially and spiritually. Our Vision The vision of Grenville is to be a world class learning institution which exceeds expectations by combining a strong and highly professional team of staff with state of the art technology. Our Core-Values The School intends to instil 7 core values in its students namely: trust in God, aspiration, respect, responsibility, kindness, honesty and discipline; and to provide relevant and up-to-date courses that impart cutting-edge knowledge and skills.
