Like our foundress, a very significant part of our vision is an understanding of the importance of education of the girl-child for individual development and service to the society. Handmaids Girls Secondary School Kuje, Abuja was established in the context of that vision. The school is a unique learning community that values and demonstrates discipline, prayer, hard work and study as our actions. In HGSS, we challenge, nuture and guide our students to think and discover their unique talents. We train our students to build a well-rounded personality and adopt a life of love and service in order to impact on the world positively. We capitalize on every opportunity and do all that lies within our power to make the school a better place to live and learn. Although academic work remains the bedrock of our school programme, much learning takes place outside the classroom. We prepare the students for life but they will also be a time of great personal growth, challenge and real happiness because the knowledge and friends they get at HGSS can be their life time opportunity.
