Overview

The importance of a solid foundation cannot be overemphasised when it comes to learning subjects ranging from Mathematics to English, to Fine Art and Technology which require a sequential kind of learning. Early education can provide helpful learning habits and can strengthen social interactions and self-confidence. This is what the pre-nursery school provides as the beginning of standardised education for our young learners. This crucial transition into formal education is the understanding that school and learning are fun and exciting and one of the most exciting parts about nursery school is the new adventure of learning the life-long skill of reading. This is also a time for a great learning opportunity for both parents and kids. In our Pre-Nursery classes, our teachers get to know each child so as to correctly assess their needs, abilities, interests, and learning styles in order to provide the optimum learning environment. They tap into the child’s natural curiosity and excitement about learning new things and use grades and evaluations as guides for parents for feedback on which areas to work on at home. At this stage, the basic skills of Letters, Numbers, Colours and Shapes are learnt and efforts geared towards the development of the physical, social, and emotional well-being of the kids are implemented through participation in co-curricular activities such as field trips and other Special School Events.
