Lagos
Overview

Holy Saviours College was established on 24th March 1969 by the Late Founder and Proprietor Late Rt. Rev. Dr. J. O. Akindeinde the sole founder of Holy Saviours Mission Church. The School was first located at 128 Palm Avenue Road and later moved to Isolo its present and permanent location. In 1976, the then Military Government took over some Schools in Lagos State and Holy Saviours College was one of the Colleges taken over from the owners. To the Glory of God the College was later returned to the family of the Founder in September 2001, by the then Civilian Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, after about 25 years in the hands of the State Government. The College had hitherto been managed by the family of the Late Proprietor. Mrs. V. O. Odunayo, one of the Late Proprietor's children has been the Managing Proprietress of the College since the return of the School in 2001. From then, the College had experienced a complete turnaround structurally and academically.
