Overview

We are Hudson Valley Adventures, a leading summer camp in New York that is specifically designed for African students aged 10 – 18 with the sole purpose of bridging the global opportunity gap that exists between the continent of Africa and the West. Our program focuses on those leadership skills and activities that cultivate global competitiveness such as self-confidence, critical thinking skills, public speaking, social Interactions with young American Scholars, and team building. We will offer training in the life saving techniques of CPR and first aid. Additionally, our 2017 participants will participate in innovative Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) activities using robotics. We will also train our future leaders in stress management techniques as we prepare them to cope with the rigors of academic, emotional and social stressors.
