Overview

The idea of establishing Iduriase Education Centre (IDEC) was conceived by the founder and proprietor, HRH (Dr.) Iduriase Osazuwa Aiwerioghene (JP) many years ago. This was based on his conviction that the nation was in dire need of a highly competitive group of schools to produce academic and highly skilled graduates. The philosophy of the institution is that of providing an all-round education for students to grow to their full potential. This philosophy is rooted in the principle of fairness, justice, equity, integrity and excellence in the process of moulding these young minds, irrespective of creed, socio-economic background, ethnic affiliation, political inclination, race and gender. As a learning centre, we are committed to the families we serve. Why Choose us On the other hand, given the antecedent of successful business establishments there was a strongly felt need by the proprietor to branch off into the education sector by founding the “Iduriase Education Centre” with the aim of inculcating positive values, attitudes and skills in the students for self-actualization and for service to their immediate society, the nation and the world at large. Thirdly, the purpose of establishing the institution is to save parents the cost of traveling to distant places to obtain similar qualitative education available in the school. Fourthly, coming from a polygamous and traditional family, he was not given the opportunity of getting the best education during his early childhood. The permanent site for the school is strategically located at Km 7, Benin-Auchi road, Eyaen, Benin City, Edo State. The institution occupies a land space of 2,020 hectares in walled enclosure. The location of the group of schools is well suited to cater for the teeming pupils and students requiring qualitative education from the neighborhood and beyond. The group of schools is owned by the Enogie of Eyaen, HRH (Dr.) Iduriase Osazuwa Aiweroghene (JP) an Educationist and Philanthropist per excellence.
