Overview

In Jubilee College, the teachers approach the classroom as one does a temple. Although Teacher-Student relationships take time to develop and deepen there is a need for a climate of love and trust to exist. Continuity between teachers and students both within the classroom and in the wider school environment are being encouraged. We seek in providing an environment that is basically sacred, with a framework of discipline which is flexible yet supportive, a freedom that gives room for students to learn even from their mistakes, to develop into person modeled by corresponding freedom and responsibility. Jubilee College is an innovative school drawing on the talents and skills of staff, encouraging participation in the large range of extra-curricular activities we offer and care is also taken to ensure the well-being and happiness of each and every student in the school. Our moral tone is quite high and our students have imbibed the principle of hard work and peaceful co existence. The philosopher, Aristotle once said that “Moral excellence comes about as a result of habit”. We encourage our students to form good habits ranging from social behaviours to spirituality. The practical experience of learning allows our children to leave school and go home each day with either something in their hand, something in their mind and especially God’s Words in their Hearts. We cherish igniting the spark of creativity and curiosity in our students. It must be noted that education is a life-long learning process. Learning takes place all the time; basically not in a formally designated place called the school. It does at home, likewise between home and school too. The home’s and school’s mission therefore is to provide a learning environment and opportunities to the children as the learners. Moulding young, impressionable minds is one of life’s biggest challenges. At Jubilee International College, our vision is to contribute to the raising of the new generation of well educated children and disciplined future leaders who have been imbued with the fear of God along with a high level of integrity. Hence, we make sure that our students grow as individuals with strong open discerning minds focusing on an international perspective, which prepares them to make their marks in the global village of which the world has become today. Academic learning and spiritual growth are our bottom line and also having the understanding that in educating students one must be attentive to the “whole child” by caring about their social; spiritual and emotional well-being. We love having parents in our school and contributing to our positive school culture. Parents and community are a big part of who we are, and we want you to help us tell our story by encouraging students to develop critical-thinking and learn through enquiry and reason.
