The children are thus prepared to make a smooth transition to the Nursery. The Nursery School curriculum is structured to help the children acquire the basic skills for Literacy and Phonics, Numeracy, Cultural Studies,[ i.e. a combination of Science, the knowledge and understanding of their environment and the world], Practical Life Skills and Sensorial Exercises, Nursery Rhymes, Art and Craft. The children are thus prepared to make a smooth transition to the Primary and the Nigeria nursery curriculum. The children are given daily take home assignments with instructions written in their homework diaries. The Primary department caters for pupils in Years 1 -6. The curriculum is more subject based. The subjects include: Literacy, Numeracy, Science, Art and Craft, Social Studies, Christian Religious Knowledge, Music, Information and Communication Technology, Languages, Vocational and General Knowledge. The children are given daily take home assignments with instructions written in their homework diaries.
