Krownley Preparatory School (KPS) is an independent co-educational elementary school based on Christian values for children ages 18months through 11 years, located in a quiet and serene environment at No 7 Bayo Shodipo, Off Ado Badore Road, by Remlek Bus Stop, Ajah. KPS is an extension of your home and we are excited at the opportunity to be part of the journey of shaping incredible young men and women. Enrolment is granted without discrimination to sex, race, colour, religion, or beliefs. KPS encourages learning and growth through play in a safe environment. We believe that children should be allowed to grow at their own pace and learn in ways that will help them become confident in themselves as learners.  Our goal is to provide all of the children with a clean, safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment.  Fear of God, respect toward self, others and the environment is emphasized. It is our goal to create an environment and program where the child’s natural desire to learn is stimulated through meaningful, appropriate, and playful learning experiences, one that meets the needs of each child as an individual. Maximum efforts are being put into stimulating the hidden talents of pupils, help build their confidence and create awareness which lays emphasis on academic excellence. KPS operates as a family; the pupil teacher ratio is 10: 1. The relationship between the staff and the pupils is remarkably warm, which is built on trust, mutual respect thus enabling pupils to learn in a warm and loving environment. Early Learners  1 (Age 18months -2years) Early Learners 2 (Age 2-3) Nursery 1 (Age 3-4) Nursery 2 (Age 4- 5) Our Preschool (Early Learners – Nursery 2) is a specially prepared Montessori environment.  Montessori curriculum emphasizes learning as a process that cannot be determined by a child' age. It is different from traditional classroom curriculum that focuses on children learning the same thing at the same time, in the same way. Instead learning is determined by the rate and speed at which a child can acquire a skill before moving to another skill. The teaching method is child centred where each child is allowed to develop and learn at his/her own pace.
