New Horizons Nursery and Primary School was established in 1984 by the Founding Trustees of the Islamic Education trust, Alhaji Sheikh Ahmed Lemu (LLB,OFR) and Hajiya B. Aisha Lemu (MON, FNAE). The schppl was set up to meet the need for high quality islamic education. It was to serve as a model for qualitative education. It is a co-educational nursery and primary school for children aged 3-10. It is a day school. The school is located in Minna, the capital of Niger state which is 161.48 km from Abuja the Federal Capital Territory. The school's mission statement is Academic excellence, high moral ethics, broad general and islamic knowledge.
