Overview

This is divided into 2 sectors : the KG and the Nursery.   We take on children  between 1.5 to 5 years of age. We encourage children to develop unique skills, interests, and strengths by introducing them to various activities that include puppet and cartoon shows, sand play, colouring and singing rhymes. They learn practically through play and positive interactions. They are encouraged to develop individually and they are engaged in group tasks. Individual attention to each child’s need is given as the ratio of  qualified adult to child is 1:5 for the under 3’s. For the over 3’s in the nursery classes, the ratio is 1 qualified person to 13. OUR KINDERGARTEN Kindergarten is a special time in a child’s life. Children at this age are developing physically, cognitively, socially, and emotionally. Our skills -based kindergarden program includes reading, English language using phonics, Maths, Environmental Studies; General knowledge, visual learning e.t.c. It is designed to allow 3+ year olds to learn through play while encouraging and noticing individual interests. Teachers facilitate opportunities for tender toddlers to engage them in sounds, reading using phonics, writing, listening, and speaking , poems, toys, plays, puzzles play, singing, story telling and rhyming. We also give room for brain engaging tasks for toddlers to expand their reasoning abilities through imaginary creativity  such as moulding, constructing  building of objects with legos , literacy, numeracy, puzzle solving e.t.c.
