A coeducational institution established by season educationalist. The proprietor late Chief (Mrs) Frances Oladiwura Fasoranti. Nee Awosika attended the prestige UMC Unified Memorial College Ibadan and later proceeded to the university of Liverpool where obtained a degree in education. She worked briefly with the Ministry of Education in the old western region as an inspector, later resigned her appointment and founded Omolere Nursery and Primary Akure on 16th January, 1967. Location The school is located in the suburb of Akure town Ondo State capital of Nigeria. The school is suituated on No 21, Fasoranti Avenue Akure. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES The aims and objectives of the school are in line with the National Policy on Education. The institution provides comprehensive education for the Kindergarten class, Nursery and Primary School Pupils. It also prepares pupils for sound foundation for higher education. The National Policy on Education lays emphasis on self-reliance, hard work and discipline. Hence, the policy encompasses broad subject areas for the average and gifted children. Among the aims of the institution are the following: To give efficient educational services to Nigerians and foreigners, irrespective of age, sex, religion or social status. To detect talented (gifted) pupils and help them to develop such skills. To make the pupils recognize the pride in hard work and the joy of success and excellence as reflected in the motto of the institution. To instill into the students self-discipline, confidence and sound moral values as the bedrock of progress in life. To help the students recognize the dignity of labour. To equip the students with the pre-requisites for intellectual development. To help develop the students’ good behaviour, tolerance and respect in the society. To help the students develop the spirit of team work and self-help in the community in which they live
