The school was founded in the year 1974 by Dr & Mrs O.A. Momoh to give fillip to and promote educational excellence thus the motto: The best or nothing. The motivation for the establishment of Plateau Private School stemmed from the love of children by founder, especially the realization that they need a proper foundation for the challenges of adulthood. The school was incorporated as a company in 1979 and moved to its permanent site in 1996. The school is located in a serene environment which helps to promote the attainment of academic excellence which is the goal of Plateau Private School. The school emphasizes future leadership based on good morals and encourages education for SELF RELIANCE following 6-3-3-5 system of education. It lays the foundation for a better tomorrow that we all dream and read about in developed countries of the world. The management believes that the best legacy a parent can bequeath his children is to give A SOUND AND QUALITATIVE EDUCATION.
