Overview

At Play and Learn, we aim to create a happy atmosphere where learning is fun and energetic for both children and teachers. We believe every child is unique and learns differently, therefore we approach teaching using a differentiated learning system. We welcome parent partnership, as we encourage our parents to be a part of our many school events and activities. Our guiding principle is a simple one: we believe that children learn through play. This is reflected in our values and in how we care for and teach your little ones. Our curriculum is guided by the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage as well as a site-based curriculum (Nigerian culture) that enables our children to become good citizens.   The Foundation Stage sets out 7 areas of learning to help develop and nurture the need of the whole child:   Personal social and emotional development Literacy development Communication and language development Mathematical development Physical development  Expressive arts Understanding the world
