Overview

Welcome to Skyheights Academy where we offer unique educational experience for all learners by integrating a curriculum that is unique to the school. Our curriculum is a rich blend of the Nigerian, Montessori and British curriculum. It is robust and relevant to the real world as it fosters each child’s well-being and ensures a solid foundation for academic success and life achievements are well laid. Through the years I have spent in Skyheights Academy, the question of what makes Skyheights Academy outstanding has been paramount in the minds of parents, competitive schools and the community. Currently as the Head of School, my position on this has become deeply entrenched in my mind as the School’s Motto (Passion for Excellence) and foot note “because they matter, we go the extramile. Their future, our passion” remains the driving force in ensuring excellence in all I do. Despite the current global state of the nation/world, Skyheights Academy’s operations didn’t stop rather, it continued on the virtual space where all learners are connected on zoom/whatsapp and are able to receive live lessons from their teachers at the comfort of their homes. These platforms also enable live conduct of continuous assessment test and examination. This process gives the learners more insight about the great benefit/advantage of technology and also a practical view of the subject I.C.T being taught in school. Over the years, Skyheights Academy has made name for itself by threading on the foot path of Excellence – in academics, competitions, moral structuring, sports and most importantly valuing social relationships with the family (Parents, Pupils, Staff, Management and Community). At Skyheights Academy, the well-being of everyone is valued immensely as the school ensures there is respect for individual differences which brings about nurturing every child’s trait in a direction that is healthy and productive to the world regardless of his/her background. Skyheights Academy is a school that is filled with committed professionals, resourceful, experienced and very passionate staff who are willing, ready and able to deliver beyond expectations. Our pupils are living evidence as they consistently portray excellence in their dispositions. The joy our pupils’ exhibit is unexplainable and this makes my team & I very dedicated in ensuring that what we instill in them remains very useful in becoming the best in the society and of course good ambassadors to the great citadel of learning “Skyheights Academy”. I am always excited whenever I remember the progress we’ve made all through the years and we will continue to ensure we give our parents full value for the investment they are making; because, there is no greater investment than in knowledge which pays the best interest and this knowledge is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learnt in school. As you go through our school page, we express to you our felicity and heartfelt welcome into the school and we hope to leave a lasting impression in your minds. CO-CURRICULAR We expose our children to a variety of co-curricular activities ranging from; Sports: Basketball, Swing ball, Handball, Football, Badminton, Swimming, Dart-game e.t.c. Creative Thinking Games: 4-to-score game, What’s their name, Puzzle----Gig-Saw Puzzle, Word Puzzle e.t.c. Clubs: JETS, Entrepreneur, Karate, Ballet, Swimming, Literary and debate, Art & Craft e.t.c. Our learners love to partake in all these activities as they are added skills that prepare them for any challenge they come in contact with as they progress in life.
