Status International School was founded in 2010 as Status Day Care Centre. It was a home away from home. It was registered with the Rivers State Ministry of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation, Child Welfare Department on the 28th day of June 2011, The center was founded to provide a warm, loving, homely atmosphere in which children will feel safe and secure and be able to develop their growth in Five core areas, to wit: moral, spiritual, physical, emotional and intellectual dimension in a good and non-threatening environment. In furtherance of its quest to the provision of qualitative and quantitative education without compromising standard, it changed its name to STATUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL in 2012 and was duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission on the 6th day of June 2012 and was granted approval by the Rivers State Ministry of Education in August 2017. The school is primarily dedicated to caring and welfare of the children. To achieve this therefore, we endeavour earnestly to providing a clean, healthy and hygienic environment. We believe that cleanliness is next to Godliness. We recognise that a clean environment will always stimulate the physical, emotional, mental and intellectual well being of the children in addition to encouraging self independence. Independence is important to children, so in order to encourage this, we provide opportunities throughout each day to enable the children to develop a positive self-esteem. Overall, caring for young children is an immense responsibility and one that we regard as very important as we shape and mould children for the future.
