St Nicholas Junior Academy has competent teachers for both preschool and primary school levels. The pupils excel in academics and perform exemplary well in examinations both theory and practical. The school relies majorly on external exams for assessment especially with the 8-4-4 system. Teachers take time to correct in a friendly manner the areas that they find weaknesses in children. The practical part of the assessment is done either individually or in a group. The trainers ensure timely coverage of the syllabus to allow for revision of content so as to prepare learners for both formative and summative evaluation. The school relies on teaching resources from approved publishers who supply both course books and reference material and all other teaching aids required for effective teaching and learning.
