Overview
Our Elementary School was established to meet the needs of parents as a bridge between home and school, “Home away from home” for pupils. A pleasant ambience and safe haven for child minding. The Elementary School is a subsidiary of Straitgate School and works in synergy with the school. It occupies its own building, a duplex, equipped and furnished in a homely and educative form and style. Children from age 5 are taken through a series of sound learning experiences organized as whole class teaching, group work or individual work until completion of Year 6. Using a blend of the International Primary Curriculum and the National Curriculum, children develop core skills in Mathematics, English Language, Social studies, ICT and Language proficiency. French and Yoruba as additional languages are introduced from Year 1.
