Overview

Sunnydale is founded on the principles of total inclusion, total access, and unconditional positive regard for all children – every child here deserves and gets unstinting attention. Our basic educational premise is that all children can learn. Our programme-of-study is a creative blend of the U.K national curriculum guidelines, American, and Nigerian curriculum. We believe that being fair does not mean that all children are treated exactly the same, somewhat like a car assembly line, but that each child is a different entity and as such, learning should be thus tailored. As our logo depicts, we seek to illuminate all areas of our children’s lives and a constant flow of communication to and from the home/school enhances this principle. Multiple intelligences, V-A-K tests, integrated & co-curricular learning, age-appropriate teaching, critical thinking, differentiated instruction, and all such terms are not just catch-phrases here. An impromptu visit when school is in session may give a clearer picture.
