The Cradle Montessori School was established using the time tested and proven principles developed by Dr. Maria Montessori. The objectives of the school are: To provide an environment that incorporates hands-on and practical educational materials in a specified orderly arrangement wherein the child can develop unique capabilities, and discover his or her potentials. This allows the child to direct his or her own learning time and pace under the guidance of the teacher. To promote independence, responsibility and leadership as well as respect, cooperation and community in a classroom spanning three grade levels. To facilitate a well-rounded comprehensive curriculum that is consistent with the Common Core Standards and that instils a sense of wonder about the universe and the child’s place within the universe.
