Tunwase Schools is situated at 22,Akinola Cole Crescent, off Adeniyi Jones Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos State. The primary section, Tunwase School was established in 1972 by the renowned veteran late educationist, Mr. A.O. Sanni. The School has played a major role in the educational development of Lagos State and Nigeria. It has since its establishment turned out pupils who are making marks in the professions, in commerce and industry and in the public sector of the economy, having built on the solid foundation set at Tunwase. A combination of academic excellence, moral and leadership training- by example plus the dedication of the teaching and non-teaching staff has placed Tunwase and its products ahead of its competitors. Tunwase Schools is a leading practioner of the Montessori Method of teaching which places emphasis on a child cultivating his/her own natural desire to learn.
