Overview

Wise-up School is a child care and learning center with facilities for creche, preschool, nursery, elementary and middle school. The school is an educational institution designed to provide learning spaces and environment for the teaching of pupils/students under the direction of seasoned and well-trained educators. The school was founded in 1998 by Dcns. Mrs Maria Obute out of her love for young children as well as her desire to offer the best foundation for their growth and educational development. The school started out as a creche with only 5 babies at 105, old Oko-Oba Road, Agege, Lagos. The school has grown in leaps and bounds. Curriculum Design: Our well-designed curriculum aligns with educational standards and caters to the diverse needs of students. It includes a balance of core subjects, such as mathematics, science and social studies, as well as opportunities for artistic, physical and social-emotional development. Differentiated Instruction: Our teachers use various teaching methods, provide different learning materials and offer support and enrichment activities that accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities. Engaging Instructional Strategies: Our excellent teachers employ a variety of strategies like hands-on activities, group work, project-based learning, discussions, technology integration and real-world applications of knowledge. Assessment and Feedback: Regular and meaningful assessments are conducted through out the school year to gauge students' understanding and progress. Individualized Support: We provide individualized support systems like remedial programs, special education services, counseling and additional academic resources to ensure every student in our school has an opportunity to succeed.
