Practical Learning Experience The theoretical aspect of learning teaches us why we do what we do. The practical application of the learning is the proof that true learning has occurred. We must be able to use all that we learn, to make it our own and integrate it so that all future learning builds on that base. Our Job, in partnership with parents, is to build the foundations for a successful education, to enable each child to discover the joy of learning, to help them fulfill every aspect of their potential and to encourage their growth into effective citizens who are ready to play their part in their community and in the world. We work hard to ensure that every child is successful in literacy and numeracy. We are therefore keen to see this recognition in the results the pupils secure. However, we also want them to learn and experience more than this through varied curriculum and a range of extra-curricular and after-school opportunities that complement our work in the classroom.
