Managing exam anxiety

T
Team, Schexus Posted 3 weeks ago
Exam anxiety is something almost every student experiences — and it is completely normal. A little anxiety can even sharpen focus and improve performance. But when anxiety becomes overwhelming, it can block memory, cloud thinking, and undermine all the hard work you have put into preparation.

In this thread, let us talk openly about managing exam anxiety. Have you experienced severe anxiety before or during an examination? What strategies have helped you calm down — deep breathing, positive self-talk, getting enough sleep, or speaking to someone?

Teachers and parents are also encouraged to contribute. How do you recognise when a student is struggling with anxiety and what support do you offer? Mental health is a critical part of academic success and deserves honest conversation.
