Parent-teacher relationships

T
Team, Schexus Posted 2 months ago
A strong parent-teacher relationship can make an enormous difference to a child's school experience. When parents and teachers work as partners rather than adversaries, students feel supported from both directions β€” and results tend to follow.

But building this relationship takes effort from both sides. As a parent, how do you engage with your child's teachers? Do you attend parent-teacher meetings consistently? Do you reach out proactively, or only when there is a problem? Have you ever had a difficult interaction with a teacher and how did you navigate it?

Teachers, you are welcome here too β€” share how you build relationships with parents and what parents can do to make that partnership more effective.
